Are we bored of AI? Microsoft’s Mikhail Parakhin reckons it might be true. From Windows Report:

Amid all the new AI releases, Mikhail Parakhin, leader of the Windows and Web Experiences Team, including Copilot took it to X (formerly known as Twitter) to ask users if they are tired of AI, after sharing an article claiming that most tech enthusiasts are losing interest in the concept.

Interestingly enough, people answered, and the answers were polarized. While there is clearly an interest in AI, and the concept itself could become the next big thing, there are users claiming that it’s also everywhere, and the industry is oversaturated to the point there is nothing exciting about it anymore.

While a Twitter poll is far from scientific, it does indicate strong polarisation and a relative boredom with AI. Apparently ‘good enough’ AI isn’t shiny enough to hold folks’ attention for very long.
