Google’s Bard (Gemini Pro) has clinched the second position on the HuggingFace Chat Bot Arena Leaderboard, surpassing OpenAI’s GPT-4. (But not GPT-4 Turbo.)
By merging the organizational prowess of Google Notebook LM with the insightful data-gathering skills of Bard, users are ushered into a realm of unparalleled insight and understanding.
At the start of December, Google said Gemini Ultra would launch in early 2024 and be available in “Bard Advanced.” When it launches, Google will position Bard Advanced as providing “complex, better responses.”
“Bard’s ability to process and generate natural language makes it a valuable tool for enhancing the productivity of Gmail and Google Docs users.”
“Copilot gave up completely, and simply asked to go back to its nap. Claude took issue with the nuance of a few answers. Bard hit hard on a whole slew of answers — but, apparently, to err is not only human, it’s AI as well.”
“This time around, we decided to compare the new Gemini-powered Bard to both ChatGPT-3.5—for an apples-to-apples comparison of both companies’ current “free” AI assistant products—and ChatGPT-4 Turbo…”
Bard is now running Gemini Pro, the middle tier of the Gemini series.
My latest book – all about how to use AI chatbots (ChatGPT, Copilot, Bard and Claude) safely and wisely – is now available!
The bot’s YouTube integration is getting a handy upgrade so it can analyze individual videos to surface specific information for you — like key points or recipe ingredients — without ever pressing play. That’s potentially a hugely useful tool.
Google’s experimental chatbot Bard is a path to developing another product with two billion users, a director said on Thursday at the Reuters NEXT conference in New York
