Google admitted when asked for comment that the video demo didn’t happen in real time with spoken prompts but instead used still image frames from raw footage and then wrote out text prompts to which Gemini to responded.
Bard is now running Gemini Pro, the middle tier of the Gemini series.
Google claims that the largest version of Gemini exceeds “current state-of-the-art results on 30 of the 32 widely used academic benchmarks used in large language model (LLM) research and development.”
