The new Microsoft Copilot usage report will provide a detailed analysis of AI adoption

What is your organisation doing with Copilot? Do you know? Microsoft has a tool to help with that, as covered in Windows Report:

According to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant is adding new policies and updates to the Copilot usage report that will offer a detailed analysis of AI adoption within organizations.

The new updates will provide insights into active usage of Copilot, while also respecting commercial data protection. The new report will focus on several aspects, such as total active Copilot users, average daily active Copilot users, and even active users per platform – and here, we’re talking about Copilot in Edge, Copilot in Microsoft 365, Copilot in Windows, or Copilot mobile app.

The new updates will also focus on providing these insights at a regular date selected by the IT managers. Microsoft says several options are available: insights for the past 7, 30, 90, and 180-day periods.

Will this sort of reporting help adoption in an organisation? Time will tell.
